Model Overview:

The Challenger is part of MTH's very first One Gauge steam offerings.

Detail is excellent and true to prototype with key detail parts being made of metal/brass
Axles and gears are all metal for long life
- Eliminates failures seen in other mfg engines: Gear & Motor bearing failures
Plastic frames (both front and rear engine sets) with plastic boiler and tender shell.
Smoke output from both stacks timed to engine chuffs
All metal connecting rods and running gear

A few more night shots with some with lightning in the background. Didn't quite get what I was hoping for as far as lightning goes. The additional driver lights up front have been installed in these pictures.
